MicroMite Explore 28 Module *ASSEMBLED*
The Explore 28 Module is a fully self contained tiny computer requiring just a single mini-USB cable to connect it to a computer. A VT-100 compatible terminal emulator (such as TeraTerm) can then be used to talk to the module, to enter MMBASIC programs, and to view output.
Complete with an onboard ‘MicroBridge’ circuit allowing you to easily upgrade the MMBASIC firmware via USB. This ensures you always have the latest features without the need of any specialist PIC programmer.
The onboard ‘MicroBridge’ circuit acts as a USB-to-UART module so no additional hardware is required to start using this module (apart from a mini-USB lead).
We will always try and supply the faster 50MHz version of the PIC32MX170, but this depends on chip availability at the time of order.
NOTE: The I/O header pins are supplied unsoldered to allow lower-cost shipping (easily fits into a bubble envelope). If you want the I/O pins soldered then add a comment at the checkout!
