The MicroMite LCD BackPack version 2 builds on the success of the extremely popular MicroMite LCD BackPack. Now with the ability to control the backlight brightness via software (PWM); however, its main new feature is an on-board MicroBridge circuit meaning it has a built-in USB interface; as well as having the ability to reprogram the MMBASIC firmware whenever new versions are released. This truly is a future-proof design at a fantastically low cost.
This is the PCB only. A complete kit, and also fully assembled modules, are available upon request.
This is for the PCB only. You will need to solder one SMD part (a Mini USB socket).
It performs two main functions:
- 1> A USB-to-Serial convertor – providing a link between your computer and a MicroMite
- 2> A PIC32 programmer – allowing you to update the MMBASIC firmware in your MicroMite without the need for expensive programmers
This high quality, 4-layer PCB allows you to build the very latest, and extremely powerful MicroMite+ Explore 100 TFT Module. It provides the ultimate in control of external devices and sensors. See video below for an overview of it’s potential.
NOTE: This PCB requires you to be able to solder fine pitch SMD components. If you prefer not to solder SMDs, then a PCB with all the SMD components fitted for you is also available .
This high quality, 4-layer PCB comes complete with all SMD components mounted allowing you to easily build your own extremely powerful MicroMite+ Explore 100 TFT Module. It provides the ultimate in control of external devices and sensors. See video below for an overview of it’s potential.
NOTE: The picture shows an unpopulated PCB. You will receive ALL SMDs pre-soldered, and also the latest MMBasic comes pre-loaded.
This PCB requires you to solder just a few through-hole components to complete the module. A totally unpopulated PCB is also available if you prefer to solder you own SMDs.
This 44-pin MicroMite PCB is the latest development from Z-cards (aka Lou & Zonker from the BackShedForum). If you want to experiment with the various hardware capabilities of the MicroMite then this is the perfect PCB to purchase. You will be required to solder SMDs. Alternatively, Contact Us if you would like the MicroMite pre-soldered (and for other part-assembled options).
An unpopulated PCB to build a Z-cards 28-pin Prototype MicroMite Module. This development board, rich in hardware features, is based on a Powerful PIC32 micro controller containing the MMBasic interpreter. The ability to write programs in MMBasic makes programming very easy. Once built, you will be controlling external hardware in just minutes from powering up.
